Alana works primarily in waterbased marker on watercolour paper but when she's feeling particularly inspired, she finds joy working on large scale canvases with acrylic paint.
Alana's art is a celebration of finding beauty in the mundane, reminding us to take a moment to appreciate the little things in life.
Alana has been featured in publications such as The Toronto Guardian and The Globe and Mail. In 2024 she participated in the group exhibition Girl Dinner, a show for female emerging artists at Abbozzo Gallery in Toronto. She has also participated in the group exhibition Bonnes Choses in Montreal at Bref.
When she isn't creating, you can find Alana at her favourite local cafes, people watching or at the farmers market getting her weekly fresh flowers.
