Inner Haven

Inner Haven is series of acrylic paintings that explores the quiet intimacy of personal space and the emotional landscapes we build within our homes. Based entirely on my own apartment, each piece reflects my lived environment as both subject and self-portrait. It is an accumulation of routines, objects, and moments that speak to who I am as an artist and individual.

Rooted in everyday rituals and familiar settings, the work invites the viewer into scenes that are deeply personal yet universally recognizable—kitchen counters, bedside tables, bathroom sinks—where the ordinary becomes a site of reflection and meaning. Through soft, natural tones and a balance of structure and looseness, these spaces are rendered not as static interiors, but as evolving expressions of identity, comfort, and care.

Inner Haven is ultimately an offering of closeness and vulnerability, where my home becomes a lens through which to explore selfhood, and where viewers are encouraged to find echoes of their own inner worlds within mine.
